Mizuma Art Gallery is currently recruiting for a permanent staff member position.
 
Requirements:
Native-level English language ability (written and spoken)
Excellent computer skills (experience in Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator advantageous)
Interest in sales work (art fairs, client liaison)
Interest in visual art
Previous employment experience
Stamina and sound health

Employment Start Date:
Middle of July 2018
 
Employment Period:
Long-term (subject to a three-month probation period)
 
Role Details:
・General gallery duties (gallery space operations, general administrative functions relating to exhibition planning)
・In particular, a focus on sales and client liaison activities 
・Translation and interpretation (Japanese-English, English-Japanese)
・Front-of-house duties
・The gallery office language is Japanese
 
Employment Schedule:
Tuesdays – Saturdays 
(Holidays: Sundays, Mondays, public holidays and fixed holiday periods during summer and New Year)
