Sculptures of young boys and girls produced from single blocks of wood using the traditional Japanese carving technique of ichiboku-zukuri. Tanada’s work shows us the boundary between all the things that surround human beings and predicts a regression back to our essential selves. At G-tokyo 2012, the most powerful aspects of the Tanada’s world will be dynamically reconstructed, interspersed with some of his latest work.
