AIDA Makoto solo exhibition So, this is what they call Still Aliveǡ at Niigata Prefectural Museum of Modern Art

We are delighted to announce AIDA Makotos solo exhibition So, this is what they call Still Aliveǡ at the Niigata Prefectural Museum of Modern Art from Saturday 12th September to Tuesday 3rd November.

In this exhibition, beginning with MONUMENT FOR NOTHING II, an ongoing work in progress for over seven years which is now at its largest scale yet, the exhibition will present key artworks which might be considered the source of Aidas identity as a conceptual artist, and which have been highly acclaimed on an international scale.

During the exhibition, Aida will be working on-site on the woodblock print series iroha, as well as continuing to develop MONUMENT FOR NOTHING II.

Saturday 12th September - Tuesday 3rd November 2015 (a public holiday)
09:00 - 17:00 (last entry at 16:30)
Closed on Mondays (however, open on Monday 21st September and Monday 12th October) and Tuesday 13th October

Entry: general 1,000 (800), university and high school students 800ߡ600ߡ, middle school students or younger have free admission
