USAMI Masahiro’s solo exhibition “Manda-la in Cyprus” will take place at Ibrahim’s Khan in Pafos, Cyprus, from Thursday 14th December.
Usami was invited to Cyprus to create new works relating to the country on the occasion of “Pafos 2017 European Capital of Culture”; these became part of the project “Japanese Eyes on Cyprus”. In this exhibition, he will show the newest works in his “Manda-la” series, which he created through close involvement with local residents.
After this exhibition in Pafos, the works will be exhibited at the Home for Cooperation in Nicosia.
