Mizuma Art Gallery is currently recruiting a staff member for a permanent employment.

 

Requirements:

English language proficiency at everyday conversational level (speaking and writing)

Excellent computer skills (experience in Word, Excel, Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign advantageous)

Interest in sales work (art fairs, client liaison)

Interest in visual art

Stamina and sound health

Interest in interacting with other people

Social media skills (advantageous)

Driver’s license (advantageous)

 

Application Deadline:

Notification of Selection Result:

Middle of July 2022

 

Employment Start Date:

Middle of July 2022

 

Employment Period:

Long-term (subject to a three-month probation period)

 

Role Details:

・General gallery duties (gallery space operations, general administrative functions relating to exhibition planning)

・In particular, a focus on sales and client liaison tasks 

・Public relations (including managing social media), creating PR materials (invitations, brochures etc.)

・Front of house duties

・The gallery office language is in Japanese

 

Employment Schedule:

Tuesday to Saturday 

Days off: Sunday and Monday

(Holidays: Public holidays and fixed holiday periods during the summer and New Year)
