Mizuma Art Gallery is participating in this year’s Art Week Tokyo, running from Wednesday the 5th to Sunday the 9th of November. O JUN’s current solo exhibition “Seeing Flowers, Seeing TV, Seeing a Cup” will be showing at the gallery.
Art Week Tokyo is an annual showcase of the creativity and diversity of contemporary art in Tokyo. The citywide initiative activates more than 50 of the Japanese capital’s leading art institutions and galleries through five days of coordinated programming and special platforms. The free AWT Bus service links all venues, making one of the world’s dynamic art scenes more accessible than ever before.

This year’s edition of ATW FOCUS, “What Is Real?” curated by Adam Szymczyk, will feature works by AOYAMA Satoru, on display at the Okura Museum of Art.

OKADA Hiroko’s video work Celebrate for ME: okuru will be screened at a special pavilion in the lobby of SMBC East Tower as part of this year’s AWT Video programme “Rituals, or the Absurd Beauty of Prayers,” curated by Keiko Okamura.
